Criticism: A Blessing in disguise

" Behind every successfull man, there are lot of critics".
Like it or not, if you desire to be famous and successfull, you have to face certain friends called CRITICS. Yes, you heard it right " Critics". No matter how talented you are, you will be criticised by some people; these people may be right or wrong, but that seldom matters as they will target you at some stage. If you act in haste against criticism, then you are demeaning yourself.

You might wonder why Iam suddenly writing about criticism, I ,myself, have faced criticism and have acted hastly against it. But, in the process, i lost many friends, and also the opportunity to improve myself. My dad always says, " Criticism is bitter medicine". How true he proved to be. I have now realise my fault and so, i am now more open to constructive criticism.

Critics are of two types, Constructive critics, and Pseudo critics ( i can't give these guys a proper name).
Constructive critics are people, who may or may not be experts in a certain field, they seldom tolerate imperfection and criticise people only if they find certain critical flaws in them. These type of critics act as the Devil's advocate. They are a boon to the society.
Constructive critics are a boon to people, they act as a mirror which portray the true self. These critics help professionals in correcting their mistakes and drive them to perform with utmost perfection. Sometimes even your own Dad, mom, friends, or relatives, can be constructive critics. You have to respect these critics and prove yourself by mending your flaws.

Pseudo critics are the worst, pessimistic, and most irritating people that you may ever find. These persons criticise people just for the sake of finding fault. Their criticism is seldom meaningless and is mostly aimed at harming the reputation of successfull people. Pseudo critics are mostly jealous people, who cannot digest the fact that people are successfull. Hence, they try to defame the person or group by commenting unneccassirily.
These type of critics are found all over the world. They are satans of the society and deserve to be terminated. It is best for us to ignore their comments and continue with our lives.

Hi Prasanna, what you said is very true, it all depends on how we take criticism, but sometimes when criticism reaches a point where you can't do your job due to unneccassary criticism then you have got to react.
