A Wanderer's moanings
Why was I born?
In this world
In a middle class family,
Where money is meager, but happiness is plenty.
Why should I live a routine life like others?
Fight hard to survive,
Long for recognition
Live to fulfill my parents needs and forget mine.
Why was I not born with a silver spoon?
To lead a life full of prosperity and happiness.
Is it a sin to ask for a joyful life?
Which contains all that I need?
Oh god! Is it unfair of me,
To ask you to grant me all my wishes,
When I find my relatives, neighbors, and friends,
leading a much better life without too much effort.
Why is this world so peculiar?
When I try to learn new things, they made fun of me
Saying I cannot learn things that are meant for higher mortals
Why do these guys teach things that they never learnt themselves?
Even when I ignore them and continue in my way,
They tend to hold me,
And say that I am following the wrong path,
that will lead to misfortune,
Why don’t these WISE guys know?
That the world is big enough,
To let all people pursue their own paths
And that a chosen path, when trodden with determination,
Will lead to success and prosperity.
When I asked you all these questions, my god!
You just smiled and answered,
“Good men face obstacles, but they do not stop,
Because obstacles are the stepping stones,
Which you should cross to reach the peak of glory”
“Wait for your chances and do not grumble,
Because precious things never come easy,
So my boy, don’t worry, just follow your heart
When the time comes, those idiots will know,
That you are not a molehill, but a mountain”.
