Bye bye 2009. Welcome 2010

Time has passed by so quickly. It's been Eons since I updated this blog. It's not that I was busy, but rather I did not have the urge or passion to write.

The year 2009 was an eventful one with its own share of ups and downs. The past year redefined my life for all the right reasons. For the first time in my professional career, I faced a lot of challenges that nearly threatened to make me quit. I made a lot of mistakes which I never would have imagined. As they say, when things go wrong, they do so at the most inopportune moment. Guess I have to get used to the fact that I will make mistakes on and off.
On the positive side, 2009 gave me many reasons to smile: I got my first ever "Best Employee Award" when it was least expected. I got to work on some crucial projects with killer deadlines. Though I succeeded in some, I also failed in some.

The best part of 2009 came when I realized that I had grown old, old enough to be married. I realized this fact when horoscopes from prospective brides reached me. Unfortunately, god decided otherwise and I am back to being a bachelor, as of now :)

Bye bye 2009. Thanks for the good and not so good memories. I cherish them all.

2010 has started with a bang. My cousin brother went to America on a Business trip. Guess, I will miss bro for another year atleast.

On the personal end, I finally bought a bike for myself. It is the Bajaj Discover DTS-SI (100cc). I prefer to call it DISCY. As of now, he has already brought me joy by enabling me to complete a 140km road trip during the Pongal Holidays. Thanks Discy! Hope you help me reach the road to Prosperity.

Life at Office is just going ok. Looking forward to a great year ahead. God! Pray that I get an increase in salary this year at least. To add to my office concerns, I need to start finishing off the papers for subjects in my PGDBA Curriculum. Pray that I study well too.

I've got an interesting year ahead of me. Although I am not sure what is in store, I am confident that this year will see me reach some very important milestones in life.

Til then, See ya.
